Beginning Quilting 1  (4 session class)            Cost:  Book Purchase  Betty Szczepanski teaches quilting basics in 4 short lessons. Beginning Quilting 2  (4 session class)            Cost:  $25.00 Betty Szczepanski teaches more techniques from Alex Anderson's 'Start Quilting' book. In these four lessons, learn how to make log cabins, 9-patch variations, friendship stars, and flying geese blocks.  You will complete this class knowing 5 new blocks and more basic quilting skills. Basic Sewing Machine Skills Class Cost:  $10.00 If you want to sew, you have to know how to run a sewing machine.  Let us teach you on our Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machines.  In an hour we will teach you machine basics, such as threading, bobbin winding, cleaning, and basic utility stitches.  This is the perfect class for new machine owners and new sewers.  Let us take the fear out of sewing.  If you desire further instruction, we offer Beginning Sewing or Beginning Quilting.  Tuesday — March 2                                          10:00 - 11:00 AM Saturday — March 6                                         10:00 - 11:00 AM Tuesday — March 30                                         10:00 - 11:00 AM

Betty's Block Party!          Cost:  $10.00 (kit included) Betty is ready to show you a few new moves.  Each month will feature a new quilt block to add to your repertoire.  She will be teaching a beginner and intermediate level class each time designed to stretch your skills and broaden your horizons in the quilting world.  Come join the party!
